Substituting a look-alike for one premium variety — spray roses in place of garden roses, lisianthus in place of peony — can drop a line item substantially without changing the photograph.

Ask whether delivery, setup, strike, and rentals are included or separate. Ask what happens if the guest count changes. Ask whether vessels are rented or kept. Ask for a proposal that lists quantities, not just a total — a clear itemization is the best sign you are working with someone organized enough to run your day.
