A simple guide to rose color meanings and how to choose the right number of stems for an anniversary, birthday or proposal.

Rose colors at a glance

Red says romantic love. Pink says admiration, gratitude and sweetness. White stands for sincerity, new beginnings and remembrance. A mixed bouquet blends those meanings and is a lovely choice when you want warmth without a single message.

Choosing a stem count

Twenty-five roses is a generous, classic gift for a birthday or thank-you. Fifty makes a statement for an anniversary or a milestone. Seventy-five and one hundred stems are showstoppers — proposals, big anniversaries and moments meant to be photographed.

More stems also mean a longer-lasting display, since a full bouquet stays lush even as a few blooms open and fade.

Order a Signature Rose Bouquet

Our Signature Rose Bouquet comes in 25, 50, 75 or 100 stems in white, pink, red or mixed. Choose your size and color on its page, add a personalized ribbon message, and we'll handcraft it in our Santa Clarita studio.
