Homecoming Corsages & Boutonnieres in Santa Clarita: A 2026 Guide

When to order, how to match the dress or suit, and wrist versus pin-on — a local guide to homecoming flowers for Canyon Country and the 91351 area.
When to order homecoming flowers
Homecoming season in the Santa Clarita Valley runs from late September through October. Order your corsage and boutonniere at least one week before the dance — two weeks if several friends are ordering matching sets — so we can source the right color of rose or spray rose.
Pick up the day of the dance or the afternoon before. Keep the flowers in the refrigerator (not the freezer) in their box until photos.
Matching the dress and the suit
Send a photo of the dress or a fabric swatch rather than a color name; 'blush' and 'champagne' mean different things to different people. White and ivory blooms work with nearly any outfit, while one accent bloom in the dress color ties the couple together in photos.
The boutonniere should echo the corsage — the same primary bloom in a smaller scale, with matching ribbon or greenery.
Wrist or pin-on?
Wrist corsages are the most popular choice for dancing: secure, comfortable, and nothing pins through a delicate dress. Pin-on corsages suit structured fabrics and more formal looks. Boutonnieres are always pinned on the left lapel, over the heart.
